This initiative aimed to gather crucial insights into how libraries are currently implementing the\u00a0<strong>Council of Europe Recommendation on Library Legislation and Policy<\/strong>. The survey specifically focused on key areas such as the\u00a0<strong>Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development<\/strong>, existing legal frameworks, policy development, public access, and digital services.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The data collected from this survey will serve several vital purposes:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Provide feedback<\/strong>\u00a0for the TELL Guide, which supports the implementation of the Council of Europe Recommendation on Library Legislation and Policy.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inform the curriculum<\/strong>\u00a0for the upcoming Winter Schools scheduled for 2026 in Thessaloniki and Osijek.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Highlight best practices<\/strong>\u00a0in the implementation of the Council of Europe Recommendation.<br><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">European libraries are increasingly evolving beyond their traditional roles to become\u00a0<strong>dynamic centers for democratic participation and community engagement<\/strong>. They are actively fostering civic dialogue and demonstrating a significant awareness of the\u00a0<strong>Agenda 2030<\/strong>. However, several major challenges persist.
